What sets this one apart is not the room but the number of people who keep coming back, in a district whose customers live there. North 90th is New Cairo's main strip, lined with restaurants and cafés, so it matters which door you take — and you take it by car.

If you cannot choose between two pieces, ask which one came in that morning: in a fish house the question surprises nobody, and the answer tells you as much about the place as about the fish.
Know before you go
North 90th is no place to walk across, and parking depends on the hour, so come by car and expect to circle a little before you find a space. In the evening a ride-hailing app will get you home faster than hunting for a taxi on the avenue. Bring cash: card payment is not a given in this kind of room, and it is the first thing to ask at the door. And rather than drive out for nothing, try a WhatsApp message before you leave: in Egypt it is the most common way to reach a place.
