A pool perched on the Mokattam heights, open to all by reservation — and a club by night.
The pool sits in the clubhouse of Uptown Cairo, the development clinging to the Mokattam ridge, and that address is the whole point: you swim at the city's own height, Cairo spread out below. The place presents itself as a pool club rather than a neighbourhood baths — you come for the day, you stay for the sunset, and the programme runs on into a DJ night until midnight. Cairo 360 in fact files it under nightlife, which says plainly enough what it is. Three recent Cairo publications list it among the city pools open by the day: it is that cross-checking, and not any announcement by the venue, that brought it in here.

Ask the price on the phone before you go up: no entry fee and no minimum spend are published anywhere, and Mokattam is not a district you pass through by chance.
Know before you go
ACCESS. The club is open to the public, with no membership, by telephone booking. Be warned: no price is published. Neither the entrance fee nor any minimum spend appears anywhere — not on Cairo 360, not in the Cairo guides that list the address. That is therefore the first question to ask when booking, and the second is what it covers. MIXED BATHING. The pool is mixed — that is the explicit ruling of CairoScene's June 2026 guide, which marks venue by venue which pools are mixed and which single one on its list is women-only. No women's slot is announced here. THIS IS NOT A LAP POOL. Cairo 360 files the address under bars and lounges; the pool day runs on into a DJ night until midnight, and part of the crowd comes for exactly that. Come early if it is swimming you want, late if it is the night: they are not the same place. HOURS. Daily from noon to midnight. Mokattam is reached by car or taxi; agree your ride back before you set out.
