Aqua Ladies Pool — Ruya Club
An outdoor pool for women only, open by the day without club membership.
It is a club pool, inside the Ruya grounds on the Waslet Dahshour road — and it is a women's pool, entirely: not a slot reserved inside a mixed day, but a basin no man enters. The club makes that its argument, with a restaurant and a café at the water's edge and enough to keep you there all day. You do not have to be a member: you telephone, you book, you pay for the day. Two round-ups of pools published in the summer of 2026, one Cairene and one regional, name it as the only strictly women-only address among basins they otherwise describe as mixed — which is what makes it, in the west of Greater Cairo, hard to replace. The pool is also hired whole, for a party or a hen do.
The extra bit
The price is published nowhere: neither the club nor the directories show it. Ask for it on the phone in the same call in which you book, and ask what it covers too — lounger, changing room, locker, towel.
Know before you go
Mixing: none. This is a strictly women-only pool, at every hour and not by time slots — men are not admitted, not even to accompany someone or wait at the edge. Access: open to the public by the day, without club membership, but on prior telephone booking; the pool is sometimes hired out whole for a party, so a place is not guaranteed without a call. The price is displayed nowhere and has to be asked for by phone. Stated hours: 10am – 7pm. The club is out west on the Waslet Dahshour road, opposite the Beverly Hills compound: allow for the drive from central Cairo, and agree the way back before you set off.
