The only pool in El Gouna whose day access the hotel itself puts in writing — and the hotel is adults only.
Cook's Club sits on the edge of a private salt lagoon, and its pool — a bridge of water above it — is the hotel's social heart rather than one of its facilities. What sets it apart in El Gouna, where nearly every pool belongs to a hotel and where access from outside is guessed at rather than read, is that here the operator announces it itself: the offer has a name, a starting hour, and a sentence saying you may come and spend the day by the water without staying the night. On Saturdays the pool turns into a pool party with a resident DJ, from the afternoon until sunset — the hotel has the name of the most festive in the resort, which is an argument for one reader and a warning for another. And one thing is worth knowing before booking: the house is adults only.

Know before you go
ACCESS. The hotel sells day entry and writes it itself: the offer is called "Sun, Sips & Serenity" and gives the pool from 11:00 until sunset, without staying the night. Two reservations, and they matter more than the rest. First: THE PRICE IS PUBLISHED NOWHERE — you must ask the hotel before making the journey, as you must for the pool party's possible entrance fee, which the hotel mentions without pricing. Second: THE HOTEL IS ADULTS ONLY. This is not an address for a family with children, and it is the first thing to check if you are travelling as a group. MIXED BATHING. The pool is mixed. No source consulted announces a women-only slot, and the atmosphere the venue describes itself — DJ, bar, sunset sessions — leaves no room for one. ON SATURDAYS. Pool party with a DJ, from 13:00 until sunset. SEASON. No seasonal closure is announced, and the facilities page gives the pool as heated in winter. Hours and offers noted in September 2026: a day-use offer can be withdrawn overnight, confirm it before you come.
