The El Gouna Film Festival

A week of Arab and international cinema, on the Red Sea.

Founded in 2017, the El Gouna festival has become the Arab cinema event: open-air screenings, premieres, and a whole industry descending on the resort for eight days. Screenings are open to the public, provided you book early.

The extra bit

The evening open-air screenings are the cheapest and the best: sea on one side, screen on the other.
