Several houses in the Nubian village hold evening music gatherings: drums, oud, songs in Nubian, and dancing that guests are quickly drawn into. It is put on for visitors, but played by village musicians.

The extra bit

Combine with dinner on site: the evening starts after the meal and ends early, because of the crossing back.

Know before you go

Plan the boat back: after 10 pm crossings thin out and cost more.
