A seaside city risen from the sand in five years, its towers standing in the Mediterranean.

On the north coast, the state has built a whole city facing the sea: a wall of towers, a promenade, a marina, concert halls. In summer it is one of Egypt's nightlife hubs; in winter it empties almost completely. The contrast between the two seasons is part of the show.

Come in July or August for the living city, in May or October for the beach without the crowds.
