Sheikh Zayed & 6th October · 6th of October City, Hay El Motamayez
Royal Day Plaza
A day by the pool, meal included, from 9am to 6pm — when pools at the same price shut in mid-afternoon.
A hotel in 6th of October selling its pool by the day, with the meal in the price: this is the day-use formula, common enough in Egypt, and this one has its opening hours going for it. Nine in the morning to six in the evening, every day, where affordable pools close at 3.30 or 5pm. The address sits in the heart of Hay El Motamayez, on Ramo Square, west of Sumed — that is, in the part of 6th of October you cross by car and not on foot. The meal is a sandwich, not a restaurant lunch: burger, cordon bleu or chicken strips, with a soft drink. Service and taxes are included, parking is free, and booking is done by phone.
The extra bit
Booking is compulsory: use the call to ask what this entry cannot settle — whether the pools are mixed, what swimwear is accepted, and what happens if the pool is closed on the day. Cancellation stays open until forty-eight hours beforehand. And from six people the price per adult drops by EGP 150, so it is worth counting heads before you dial.
Know before you go
Access is sold to the public without membership, but by booking only: EGP 880 per adult alone, 730 per adult from a party of six, 399 per child aged six to twelve, free under six (entry alone). Service and taxes included, meal and drink included, free parking, cancellation possible until forty-eight hours beforehand. The offer as published states "valid for Egyptians only": a foreign visitor should have that confirmed by phone before crossing the city. Mixing, on the other hand, is nowhere stated — none of the pages consulted says whether the pools are mixed, or whether there is a women-only session. That is a question for the booking call, which is compulsory in any case. These prices are those of a coupon valid until 30 September 2026.
