The air-conditioned mall you go to as much to buy as to escape the heat: international brands, a cinema, a Spinneys supermarket for the week's shopping, and a food court upstairs. It is also the simplest place to find swimwear, sunscreen or an extra suitcase at fixed prices.
The extra bit
Sand City is ten minutes away on foot: the two fit into the same late-afternoon outing.
