Hurghada's best-documented day pass: pool, beach, lunch and soft drinks included — at a price dating from 2024.
Siva Grand Beach is a seaside hotel in south Hurghada, one of some thirty strung along the coast road: ochre blocks, date palms, straw parasols and a wide pool open to the sea. What sets it apart in this guide is not the architecture but the fact that we know exactly what a day there covers. A traveller took the trouble to write it out: 600 pounds for the pool AND the beach, the buffet at the restaurant that stands between the two, a towel, and unlimited soft drinks. It is the most precise account of a day pass anywhere in the city — and the most fragile, because it dates from 2024 and the hotel itself has never published that rate anywhere.

Ring before making the drive: ask the day's price, what it still includes, and the hour the pass ends. If the burkini matters to you, ask in the same call — the rule belongs to each establishment.
Know before you go
ACCESS — the day is paid for and open to non-residents: 600 pounds recorded in 2024, covering the pool and the beach, with the buffet, a towel and soft drinks included. That price is two years old, the pound has moved since, and the hotel publishes no day-use rate on its site: budget for more, and have the figure confirmed by telephone before you set off. MIXED BATHING — the hotel is mixed, as Red Sea seaside hotels generally are; no women-only session is announced and no source mentions one. Worth knowing: in Egypt the burkini rule is not national, each establishment sets its own — ask about it in the same breath as the price. HOURS — not published; the local practice quoted on the forum where the rate was recorded is 10am–5pm, to be confirmed. One last detail, from the same traveller: the hotel wifi reaches neither the pool nor the beach.
