At Sabina, in El Gouna: an inflatable playground floating on the lagoon — slide towers, trampolines, climbing walls, beams and obstacle runs — paired with a two-cable wakeboard tow, one of them set up for beginners. You fall a great deal; that is the point. On shore, a pool, a restaurant, a playground and a trampoline let the youngest rest while the others go back in. Six minutes from Abu Tig marina, twenty-five from Hurghada airport.
The extra bit
Passes are sold by duration: start with the shortest. Everyone underestimates what an hour on an inflatable course costs the arms, and a longer pass bought on the spot beats a longer pass paid for and unused. Come in the morning: the lagoon picks up an afternoon wind that makes the modules slippery and the falls less funny.
Know before you go
Entry is refused under six years and under 110 cm, and an adult must stay present up to twelve: this is not a place to drop children off. The inflatable park is exhausting — children often last less than the pass you bought. The operator advertises year-round opening, but the lagoon is still winter water: outside the hot season the question is not whether it is open, it is how cold the water is. And mind the name: the domain slidersaquapark.com no longer answers, sliderscablepark.com is the one that counts — the links still circulating in guides and travellers' groups lead nowhere.
